United Way Campaigns

Fall means it’s time for charitable campaign season. Companies, federal, and state agencies are all asking employees to make charitable contributions. If you are participating in one of the many charitable campaigns this fall, please consider designating The Autism Society of Northwest Ohio as your charity of choice. You can designate to us under your local United Way Campaign, the Employee Charitable Campaign, the Ohio Charitable Campaign, the Combined Federal Campaign, and sometimes via your own employer’s matching gift program.

Do you participate in the United Way’s annual campaign? You are able to DESIGNATE your dollars to the Autism Society of Northwest Ohio. In fact, because the Autism Society of Northwest Ohio is a “DESIGNATIONS ONLY” agency, we only receive United Way money if you specifically earmark it for us.

Here’s how: For the Employee Charitable Campaign or Local United Way Campaign, designate your gift by using the “Write in” section of the form under either the “Payroll Deduction” or “One Time Contribution.” Write in the “Autism Society of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, OH” and your amount. To designate using the online system, you have to click through a few screens to find where you can designate. If you need assistance, ask your Human Resources Department or call the United Way, 419-248-2424.

If you are a state employee or your company participates in the State Charitable Campaign, please consider a donation to The Autism Society of Northwest Ohio; our State Charitable Campaign number is 50026.

If you are a federal employee, our Combined Federal Campaign designation code is 71374.
