Plans for the 49th Annual Autism Society National Conference and Exposition, July 12-15, 2017 are nearing completion!
This year’s keynotes will include the following panel conversations led by several well-known authors who have written many books on autism:
1. Panel of self-advocates, moderated by Dr. Barry Prizant, author of Uniquely Human.
2. Panel of parents, moderated by Judy Endow, author of PAINTED WORDS: Aspects of Autism Translated
3. Panel of autism professionals, moderated by Stephen Shore, author of Beyond the Wall: Personal Experiences with Autism and Asperger Syndrome, as well as being a long-time member of the Autism Society Panel of Professional Advisors.
We are also nearing completion on our complete lineup of sessions which will provide all attendees with a rich panoply of speakers and resources covering the entire lifespan, including practical applications focused on the Autism Society’s quality of life outcomes.
ASA affiliate, the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin is welcoming attendees to Milwaukee with two special events, a visit to the Harley Davidson museum featuring local food and music and an evening out at the ballpark including a tailgate party and excellent seats.
