Creating a Compassionate Community

What does it mean to “create a compassionate community”?  Do we have a compassionate community? How can we create one?

This topic was addressed on March 22, 2017 at the University of Toledo Carlson Library as part of a month-long series held to create awareness of autism in our community.  This particular topic was addressed by three speakers, and the presentation is separated by speaker.  Please take a moment to watch the presentation at the three links below.

The Autism Society of Northwest Ohio is an affiliate of the Autism Society of America, the oldest and largest autism advocacy organization in the country. We provide support, education, and advocacy to individuals, parents, family members, and professionals affected by autism across the lifespan and the entire autism spectrum in 12 counties in Northwest Ohio.
