Fun Ways to Help Support Our Mission

Good Times Bar & Grill is celebrating their 20-year anniversary on Saturday, May 19 from 11 am – 2 am.  Stop in for food and drink specials.  Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit ASNO. (5119 Jackman Road in Toledo – 419-472-7311)

The 8th annual AUTISM SPECTRUM-FEST – Arts and Music Festival – will be held on Saturday, June 23 at Sullivan’s in Wauseon.  The event will feature popular recording artists including Donny Brown of The Verve PipeAmelia Airharts, as well as and Nick Neenan and Lauren Jbara.  Click HERE for additional information and sponsorship opportunities.

Scholarship Opportunity for Families

The Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism announced its accepting application for the Suzanne Tyner Autism Scholarship Program.  The first deadline for applications is June 15th.

Ohio Communication Bill Moves Forward

(From WCMH Columbus, 5/4/18) A bill that could help interactions between law enforcement and people with communication disabilities is moving forward at the Statehouse.  Click HERE for the complete story.

Today, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updated the incidence rate of autism among eight year olds in the United States. This updated report occurs every two years. The incidence rate released in April 2016 showed that 1 out of 68 children were living with an autism diagnosis. Today’s incidence rate show the rate has increased to 1 out of 59 eight year olds.
